Kip Forbes and Lyle Cogen at the Forbes Enterprise Awards Luncheon at Jazz At Lincoln Center

On February 5th, Lyle Cogen received the Forbes Enterprise Award for her innovation in Arts Education programs for children and her Entrepreneurship in business. Lyle was recognized for this honor because of her years of commitment to developing high quality, meaningful music for children. Lyle Cogen, a multi award winning family recording artist, performs across America in theatres and schools. “ It is such an honor to be selected by The Forbes Foundation to receive such a prestigious award” said Cogen, “It is a thrill to have others validate the importance Arts in Education, and to be recognized for what I love doing and have committed my life to”.

Lyle is a Lincoln Center Institute trained teaching artist in aesthetic education.
