Congratulations to Alex The Jester for bringing home to the USA a second place finish at the international clown festival in Sicily, Italy. Way to represent us- Alex!

Recently, our own Alexander, King of Jesters was selected to represent the US at the Big Break festival in Moscow. While there, Alex volunteered his time to do additional performances at 4 orphanages in the region.

The International Showcase of Performing Arts for Young People (Showcase 2010), presented by International Performing Arts for Youth (IPAY), is returning to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on January 20-23. This annual conference, held in a different city each year since 1979, will occur in and around Pittsburgh's Cultural District, and will be hosted by Pittsburgh International Children's Theater, a division of The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust.

On February 5th, Lyle Cogen received the Forbes Enterprise Award for her innovation in Arts Education programs for children and her Entrepreneurship in business. Lyle was recognized for this honor because of her years of commitment to developing high quality, meaningful music for children.
